YBF EXCLUSIVE: “The Game” Is Getting Sidelined?!

We’re hearing rumblings from a certain actress from “The Game” that the show is very likely about to get sidelined. A very reliable source who has appeared in numerous episodes on the show reveals to TheYBF.com that the CW network may be in the process of axing its entire comedy division.  And that means “The Game” and “Everybody Hates Chris” are on the chopping block.  Here’s the e-mail we received:

The Game’s last shooting day is Tuesday [2/3]. Buzz around the set is that they don’t know if they are coming back. I am hearing rumours about CW cutting the comedy division. [spoiler removed], so they wrapped that storyline if they don’t come back. CW cut their budget so there are no wrap parties for their shows this year.

Damn.  First “Girlfriends” gets no wrap party love, now “The Game” and others won’t either.  Rough times.  We all pretty much knew this was coming, though, as soon as they moved the show to the kill slot, b.k.a. Friday night.  Oh wells.  It was good while it lasted….

Afternoon Tidbits: Jennifer Hudson Performing At NAACP Image Awards+Other Ish

Academy Award-winning actress and Grammy Award nominee Jennifer Hudson and Seal are set to perform at the 40TH NAACP IMAGE AWARDS, which will broadcast live from Los Angeles’ historic Shrine Auditorium Thursday, Feb. 12 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live) on FOX. Additionally, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Taraji P. Henson, Keke Palmer, Regina Taylor and Kerry Washington will present during the special joining previously announced hosts Halle Berry and Tyler Perry. Jenny’s also set to perform at the Grammy’s .


Dwight Eubanks–the 6th ATL Housewife and NeNe’s gay BFF–has confirmed that he is indeed getting his own reality show. In addition to owning the Purple Door salon in Atlanta, he’s opening his own boutique. Featuring, of course, She by Sheree. I wonder if there will be sketches in place of actual clothes.

Angela Simmons and Vanessa Simmons were spotted on the streets of New York yesterday looking cute.

And Ashanti was spotted out to dinner in NYC this weekend.  And she still can’t close her mouth.
