LisaRaye, Tifanny “New York” Pollard, and an all African-American celebrity cast will perform Eve Ensler's Obie-award winning play The Vagina Monologues in several cities in an effort to combat violence against women and girls. It kicks off tonight in Washington, D.C. Other cast members include Wendy Raquel Robinson, Tamara "Taj" Johnson George, Jill Marie Jones, Essence Atkins, Tocarra, Shar Jackson, Ella Joyce, Rolonda Watts, Yvette Wilson, Lisa Wu Hartwell, Tiffany Pollard (’New York’), London Charles (’Deelishis’) and Myra J. Tidbits Posted: 06 Feb 2009 10:30 AM CST Sean Combs is still polishing his acting chops.  He’s set to appear on this upcoming Monday’s episode of “CSI: Miami”.  He’s playing an a slick defense attorney.   I have a feeling he’s about to kill this role… Eve is still trying to release her album Here I Am.  It was shelved even after she released her hit “Tambourine” and that was two years ago.  She says she’s in a label mess right now and has changed the album name to Flirt: “Unfortunately I am caught up in a whole music label situation…The album is finally going to come out this spring or summer. But with all the time that passed, we went back in and reworked the whole thing. I am truly, truly sitting on some amazing music. Nobody’s been waiting longer than me to get this monkey off my back! “I had to get in there and put in some upbeat music that I wasn’t depressed about…It won’t be called ‘Here I Am’ anymore.” Good luck with that Eve. Reggie Bush is talking about taking his girlfriend Kim K. on a trip to South Africa. Yeah…

Ciara, Malinda Williams, & Others Say “Hello Kitty!” Posted: 06 Feb 2009 09:40 AM CST MAC Cosmetics and V Magazine hosted the Hello Kitty Commotion! showcase last night in the NYC: Ciara kicked it with Ms. Kitty herself. And rocked a super cute look.  Chick’s body is on ridiculous status these days.  Fabulous indeed. And YBF chick Malinda Williams came out looking fabulous as usual as well. And solo on the red carpet.  Just wondering why her face is a whole different shade of brown than the rest of her body though… And it looked like fun times with Teyana and friends inside the party too. Celebs Do the Black Eyed Peas Benefit Concert Posted: 06 Feb 2009 08:50 AM CST YBF folks hit up the Black Eyed Peas PeaPod Benefit Concert in L.A. last night: Rihanna was there to kick it with the band. So was Solange in her houndstooth skirt and hot Chanel booties. And Fanny came through as well.  Damn have I been overlooking her completely tatted up arm this whole time?  I’m just not a fan of the jail tattoos on females… More pics from this event when you read the rest… Rihanna rocked a cute skull and bones sweater dress. Cute looks for Solo and Jonelle Monae. Boyz II Men made an appearance. Oh Fanny… Band members Will.i.am and apl.de.ap (who is still mourning the recent murder of his half brother) got caught by the cameras. Don’t know who this singer Alycia Bellamy is but it looks like she raided Meagan Good’s closet before she went out. The band hit the green carpet. Fergie kicked it with the mayor of L.A.
