Usher had to cancel his Clive Davis Pre-Grammy party performance last night at the last minute. His mother/manager called in saying he had to tend to a “serious family emergency”. While some sources reported a fatal accident during his wife Tameka’s cosmetic surgery in Brazil, that was denied via sources close to her.

It has been confirmed by other sources, as well as YBF’s own sources, that Tameka was indeed in Brazil receiving liposuction and tummy tuck surgeries very recently. Complications relating to that (and that being the reason for the cancellation) haven’t been confirmed by anyone other than Access Hollywood. Either way, Usher’s dealing with a serious family emergency at this time. Hopefully everything turns out ok. Stay tuned for the updates…

We also hear that Kanye West was spotted leaving a Pre-Grammy party this weekend…with a video vixen. Amber Rose, the video chick everyone knows as “having the short hair” and the one who says she “inspired her friend Rihanna to cut her hair”, was spotted following ‘Ye into his car the other night. They were also caught by the TMZ cameras. And folks on the scene say they definitely looked like they were headed for their “nightcap”. Interesting…

The folks over at ONTD caught Lil Wayne, M.I.A., Jay-Z, T.I., and Kanye rehearsing a Grammy performance for “Swagga Like Us”.  Apparently it was supposed to be a “surprise”.  Oh wells…cat’s out the bag now.  By the way, tomorrow night is M.I.A.’s due date.  Hope she doesn’t go into labor on stage….

Christina Milian hit up the Radio Killa pre-Grammy party last night looking uber fabulous in a pink and silver Herve Leger mini and Miu Miu sequin pumps.  If you’re going to rock an overly worn dress, you better kill it.  And that she did.

And celebs like Estelle and Faith were hitting up Grammy Gifting Suites left and right:

YBF folks are in full effect this weekend.  Over in L.A., Rihanna was spotted leaving a pre-Grammy party at Boulevard 3 with her boo Chris Breezy:

I guess she gave in to the ripped tights trend.  And is putting the kabash on those constant break-up rumors…

Taraji P. was spotted lugging a dress and luggage in JFK airport last night.  Likely on her way to the Grammys herself.  Loves her.

While most celebs are headed out to L.A. for the Grammys already, Michelle Williams, Cousin Angie, and Rocsi were all spotted courtside at the Knicks game last night:

Does Beyonce know her cousin/assistant Angie is kickin’ it courtside across the country with Michelle while she’s getting ready for the Grammys?  Just wondering…

And somebody gave Rocsi and her Gucci sandals courtside seats to the game–right next to Lil Penny.
