GRAMMY COUPLE ALERTS?: Taraji & Lamar Odum+Whitney & Ray-J+Other Gossip Ish

Look who was spotted leaving a Grammy afterparty together last night:

Yep. That’s L.A. Laker Lamar Odom and Oscar nominee Taraji P. Henson. And homeboy is holding on for dear life isn’t he? We’ve heard rumors about these two being a new couple who’s trying to keep it on the low. But as usual, they always get caught at some point. Lamar’s been poppin up at some pretty random movie star events lately–like the same Golden Globe afterparties Taraji hit up last month. And now we know why–it looks like another baller/movie star couple is about to take center stage…

Also spotted leaving a Grammy afterparty together last night on the sneak sneak tip:

Whitney *side eyeing her under-the-influence look* and Ray-J. Again.  His big sis Brandy says she’s asked Ray about Whitney several times and he continues to say “they’re just friends”. We beg to differ. And we’re going with friends with benefits. I know y’all YBF cougars know the deal.

Anyways, we’re told by a PR source at the same afterparty as them that Whitney was walking around talking in a whisper all night and acting very strangely.  She had no security with her, just Ray-J and another couple.  And she had definitely had too much to drink.  Keep it classy Mama Whit.

News sources are confirming today that Tameka Foster Raymond is now in stable condition after her scare yesterday. She was recovering from a tummy tuck and other cosmetic surgeries she received in Brazil when serious complications arose. Her husband Usher had to cancel his Clive Davis performance appearance this weekend and rush to her side. No word on what the official complications were.

And word around L.A. is that M.I.A. went into labor shortly after she left the Grammy awards last night. If that isn’t perfect timing I don’t know what is. We’re not confirming this just yet, just saying what the tea around Tinsletown is….

Chrihanna-Gate UPDATE: Rihanna Confirmed As Victim Of Chris Brown’s Assault!

So we’ve got the latest in the Chris Brown booking/assault incident from last night:

UPDATE (1:47p EST): Sources are reporting there was no deadly weapon involved event though the report says so. Interesting. We’re also told that folks in the LAPD Wilshire department building were snapping pics of Rihanna on the low when she was in their making her report. And no car accident report was filed, only a report pertaining to violence. Cop sources say Rih definitely had serious and obvious bruises on her face that could not be covered by makeup. She also went to Cedar-Senai hospital at some point last night.

It has now been confirmed that Rihanna is indeed the female victim who named Chris Brown as the assailant. Chris will likely be charged with Felony Criminal Threats and may also get a Deadly Weapons charge. The crime report, which we’re trying to get our hands on right now, says “assault with a deadly weapon” and lists Robyn Fenty (Rihanna’s government name) as the victim. So much for confidentiality.

Last night, Chris posted his $50,000 bail and left the LAPD Wilshire Department Building. The whole “car accident” story, just as we said last night, was a bad PR lie by Rihanna’s PR people. Apparently this is not the first altercation Chris and Rihanna have gotten into. We’ve been told Rihanna was calling Chris several times last night after the fiasco as they’ve been having a very heated relationship lately that goes back and forth. I guess that wack cover-up story was a way to cover her ass to the public if they end up staying together.

People are speculating the cause of the altercation as ranging from an STD being passed (after Rihanna was spotted with a cold sore a few weeks back), to a drunken fight that escalated way too far, to a jealous rage and fight due to another man/woman being in the picture. Interestingly, Chris has previously discussed in interviews that his stepfather was physically abusive toward his mother. Chris has also secured high powered attorney Mark Geragos, the same lawyer for Michael Jackson who helped him defeat those molestation charges.

Grammys ‘09: The Afterparties

A ridiculous amount of parties went down post-Grammys. And we’ve got all the coverage of course:

Ashanti thought wearing 2 sizes too small was a good idea. Not a gorrible look, but I have a feeling she can’t breathe.

Wasn’t feeling this dress on Christina at all. Too long for how short she is. Cute shoes though.

And I don’t know what Raven was thinking when she left the house.

At the Nivea/Island Def Jam party:

Keyshia Cole looked pretty nice.

I would do a run-by and risk catching a beat down from both her and Neffe to jack those Louboutins. They’re barely even out yet.

So good to see Kanye genuinely smiling again.

BABY FAB: Eddie Murphy Ordered To Pay Child Support For Angel!+Tiger Woods Welcomes Second Child!

I know Eddie was expecting this ish. A judge has just ordered him to pay Mel B. $51,000/month in child support for Baby Angel Iris Murphy. It’s a total package of about $10 million. Damn! Eddie originally denied Mel B. was pregnant with his child, even though Mel stated from the get the baby was indeed his. After Mel B. got married to Stephen and a paternity test was done, it was definite Eddie IS the father. He has now been ordered to pony up the cash for Baby Angel. By the way, she’s already about to make 2 years old in April and Eddie’s never even met her. According to Mel, that’s his choice.

In other news, Tiger Woods‘ wife, Elin, gave birth on Sunday to their second child–a boy named Charlie Axel Woods. Their daughter Sam was born in 2007 (pictured above). These folks love ambiguous names. Tiger posted a statement on his website saying: “Both Charlie and Elin are doing great and we want to thank everyone for their sincere best wishes and kind thoughts.” Congrats to the couple!

Grammys ‘09: The Show

Celebs hit the stage and audience for all the awards and performances.  And Jay-Z, M.I.A., Lil Wayne, T.I. and Kanye West all hit the stage for an update Rat Pack performance–called The Rap Pack.  They did “Swagga Like Us” of course. M.I.A.’s baby was like–crowning–while she was hopping around on stage.

And look who Weezy brought along–his girl Nivea.

Jen and David kicked it in the audience after she won for Best R&B Album.

And so did Keyshia Cole and Leona Lewis.

Great performance by the Rap Pack.

JT, Al Green and Keith Urban filled in for Chris Brown’s set.

Jenny and Whitney spent some QT backstage looking fabulous.  I do hear Whit was full of that “drank” though.  Which explains her hilarious Broadway style impromptu speech she gave at the opening.

Solo, T.I. and Sam Jackson kicked it in the audience.

Kanye and Estelle performed.

Queen kicked it backstage with the YBF folks.

A re-injured Travis Barker kicked it with Diddy and Chris Tucker.

Ne-Yo and Jamie Fox performed with the Smokey Robinson/Four Tops.

Oh hey T-Pain.

Yolanda Adams looked fab and kicked it backstage with Ne-Yo.

Weezy repped the N.O. for his set.

Uncle Stevie and Robin Thicke posed for the cameras.

Lupe was spotted in the audience.

And Mary Mary won an award at the pre-show.
